The Volkswagen 1.4 TSI CAX (specifically the CAXA ) is one of the most prominent engines in the EA111 family. This 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder represents a shift toward “downsizing”, combining a small displacement with a turbocharger to provide the power of a larger engine with the fuel economy of a smaller one.
